The apartment is located on the quiet part of the Keizersgracht in the canal belt Jordaan-neighbourhood. It is one of the most popular residential areas in the historic center of Amsterdam. The Jordaan has the best shops, nice cafes and very good restaurants. Around the corner is the Noordermarket, on Monday there is the "Lapjesmarkt" and Saturday the famous Farmers market. Also the Westerstraat, Elandsgracht, the Damsquare, the Haarlemmerstraat and "De Hallen" are at walking distance. The Nine Streets with their fashionable shops and trendy boutiques are nearby and there is a wide range of museums, theaters, cafés and the Marnixbad in the vicinity.
